The last thing I remember is that I was sleeping in the car with my family. We were on our way to our family ranch, or Finca. It was up in the mountains surrounded by beautiful ebony trees. I sensed a bright light seeping through my closed eyelids. It became more and more intense. My first thought was that I was entering heaven and would soon be enlightened by God himself. But there was something sinister about this light. I opened my eyes to a squint and BOOM! Everything went white. It was as if I’d been sucked back into my dream. I tried opening my eyes, but I couldn’t. I was stuck in a completely white world. Where am I, I wondered. How long have I been here? I was bombarded with such questions. But the most disturbing question of all was this: Who am I? I didn’t have an answer.
