Loop
Loops is a collection of lighting objects; a wall mounted light, a floor lamp, and a table lamp. The pieces are designed to be dynamic, continuous, amorphous loops of light derived from a simple hand gesture. These three particular forms were selected from among over 100 gestural loops hand drawn by the designer. Once the loops were selected, and the forms extracted, the formal elements are crafted using the loops as reference. The design of each object is expressive and process driven. Using addressable LEDs, the code adds dynamic qualities to the light, bringing the loops to life.
