Twitter Movies
Students identified 100 sentences from selected texts about media and politics, retrofitted them to Twitter character count constraints, and put them into an ordered sequence. They then developed a minimal typographic system for giving form to these “tweets.” Originally intended to be anonymously published, in regular intervals, on the interior walls of the design and architecture building, these were subsequently made into to digital animations, for hypothetical circulation on youtube or whatever. If the text moves too fast for your eye and brain, take a screenshot.
