Mass

Through Mầss I try to give the end tables the appearance of a heavy object floating in the air. I do this through using minimal supports of brass to support a large faceted object made out of wood and potentially granite or stone. This object is faceted to show the sheer size and mass of the object rather than focus on the form and looks. Each object is physically different while also being similar in the fact that they are faceted but have different angles and cuts. To emphasize the sheer size of the object the end tables can “ bunch “ together, meaning they can come together to form one cohesive larger end table.
