INJECTOR: A desktop injection molding machine

Manufacturing was mostly experienced, understood and practiced by either those in the trade or involved with large companies who had the funds to utilize such sophisticated processes. In recent years, however, manufacturing has experienced a revolution where anyone who is interested in learning such industry processes can now obtain this knowledge.

The internet is a key component of this democratization, but it is not the sole enabler. Companies have developed machinery to fulfill the ever-growing desire for the average person to manufacture their own goods at home or in small studios. Alongside advancements in technology, industrial machines have shrunk in size where they can now live in bedrooms. Some processes have successfully transitioned to the realm of desktop machinery; except for the injection molding machine. Well, not until Injector.
