Dangerously Sweet

Being a magical girl unleashes the duality that exists in all women. Strong, even beautiful, but she’ll cut you, figuratively speaking, of course. I identify. Vibrant pastels and pinks may appear ‘girly’ but it is precisely the vibrancy—spirited, pulsating, strident, dazzling, intense—that speaks for the inner-strength women possess. Why else would worldwide organizations like the National Breast Cancer Foundation and the Women’s Movement embrace the power of pink?! As a graphic and motion designer, I rally my innermost strength as a woman to create works of visual communication that resonate, not only among women but the greater public as well. Awareness is the first step toward change.
